Message	and it does have a catch so that when properly inserted it will prevent the hood from opening further. A few weeks ago I noticed a friend had his hood prop installed backwards/up-side-down. This would prevent the hood prop from "catching" in the hood. Is this the possible cause for your hood prop rubbing and failure to prevent over extension?
